Mr. Minns has promoted tourism for the post forty years through his songs and writings and is a Bahamian truly dedicated to the development of our #1 industry, tourism. Mr. Minns started singing, dancing and putfing on a comedy act called, "Bill and Sam." His first novel "Island Boy," contains lots of Bahamian history and it is anticipated that his upcoming novel will be just as informative and educational for visitors and Bahamians alike. His many songs tell stories of life in The Bahamas, including: "Once Is Not Enough," "Christmas In The Bahamas," and "Island Boy." In the '70s, he worked with the Ministry of Tourism, and has also worked at the Silver Slipper, Ardastra Gardens & Zoo, and Montagu Beach Hotel. Mr. Minns passion is to make people laugh and he will not miss a chance to promote The Bahamas. His current hit songs are: "How Junkanoo Began" and "Sunday Christian," the latter of which is nominated for the People's Choice award. |
